SuPAR App

Inspect where the part is located.

The SuPAR App overlays the real part with the CAD target geometry on the iPad Pro. Inspectors follow prepared checkpoints, evaluate deviations and document the result directly in the AR view.

From project to decision

A guided process for the shop floor.

Preparation takes place in Composer. In the App, the inspector focuses on alignment, inspection and documentation.

01

Transfer project

The prepared project file is transferred from Composer to the iPad via USB.

02

Align ghost model

Start view, axis or gizmo support the initial alignment on the real part.

03

Inspect checkpoints

Navigation, status and scenes guide the user through the prepared inspection.

04

Create report

Inspection status, comments, photos and metadata are combined in the digital report.

App features

More than a CAD overlay.

SuPAR combines tracking, visual inspection, guided processes and digital evidence in one interface.

Tracking

Dynamic object tracking

CAD edges are matched with real object edges. Dynamic tracking extracts edges in real time while tracking.

Comparison

Four inspection layers

Switch between the solid model, CAD lines, detected actual lines and colour-coded tracking edges.

Guidance

Navigation to checkpoints

A directional arrow and real-time position display guide the inspector to prepared checkpoints.

Documentation

Notes, photos and markings

Status, comments, photos and 2D drawings are captured directly at the relevant point and assigned to the report.

Process

Scenes and assembly states

Scenes prepared in Composer show only the parts relevant to each assembly or inspection step.

Measurement data

Colour Map and Gap & Flush

XML- and GXML-based deviation data can be displayed as an AR projection with an adjustable scale.

Detailed inspection

Zoom, section and transparency

Zoom window, section view, colour and transparency of the solid model support detailed visual inspection.

Ergonomics

Customisable operation

Profiles, left- or right-handed interface, colour-blind mode and Quick Zoom adapt the App to the inspector.

Reporting

Selective report output

Comments, checkpoints, status values, photos and metadata can be included selectively in the report.

Three start modes

The right tool for each situation.

Object

The real part is tracked and overlaid with the ghost model. This mode is at the heart of quality inspection.

Free

The CAD model is placed on a detected surface as a digital twin without a real part.

Scene

Prepared scenes can be opened as a 3D CAD viewer and reviewed independently of the real object.

Important: Das CAD-Lineal der App dient nur zur groben Orientierung und ersetzt keine kalibrierte Messung.

Proven application patterns

Where visual AR inspection delivers tangible value.

The supplied project references show recurring applications across different industries.

Assembly completeness

Detect missing or incorrectly assembled components directly against the CAD reference.

Position of welded parts and holes

Visually inspect the position, geometry and presence of part features.

Fixture and assembly setup

Inspect jigs, fixtures and assembly states using prepared scenes.

Incoming to final inspection

Structure inspection steps from incoming inspection through assembly to final acceptance.
